Driftless Glass

I just got back from the Driftless area, fishing extensively with both of my 7'6" #3 and 8' #4 glass rods. Both rods did very well, with the longer rod being more versatile in open, prairie sections of the streams, and shorter one providing that extra touch for small flies. For more photos of rods in action from this trip, see my blog posts here and here.

  1. Vlad, I just typed in a big message and she disappeared to "someplace"...that's the pits...

Anyways, really nice looking builds you have here. I like your new line of rods as shown. And the trout pics you post are really good, as always.

You have a new reel too. Dare I guess, is it a centerpin?? Looks really good on your rod as shown.

I've not been trouting for awhile now due the the family vac. and taking that fish of a lifetime that you saw on Nates FB page. I have a tough time getting back to trout after chucking big baits around but I'm getting there again now. I go through this every season post vacation!!

Great to visit you and your driftless trip here. Ya done good boy!! And your rods look spectacular! Nice lines.

We'll talk some . I have a trip out west to West Yellowstone in mid Sept. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Keep in touch,

Jeremy. - wish I knew where that last post-reply went and hope this one doesn't disappear...
