I just got back from the Driftless area, fishing extensively with both of my 7'6" #3 and 8' #4 glass rods. Both rods did very well, with the longer rod being more versatile in open, prairie sections of the streams, and shorter one providing that extra touch for small flies. I've not been trouting for awhile now due the the family vac. and taking that fish of a lifetime that you saw on Nates FB page. I have a tough time getting back to trout after chucking big baits around but I'm getting there again now. I go through this every season post vacation!!
